Skirts, leg warmers, and coveralls will be permitted only with approval from the instructor. Students dressed inappropriately for class will not be allowed to participate.
Please see our Curriculum page for specific leotard colors and shoes.

All students are expected to inform Dance Creations of their absence prior to their scheduled class time. Students arriving 15 minutes after class begins may only be allowed to participate with permission from the instructor. Students may not leave class early for any reason without the permission of the instructor.

Observers

Parents and visitors may stay and observe class from the designated waiting areas only. Parents and visitors are asked to refrain from disrupting class at all times. We will be happy to schedule time to discuss any issue or answer any questions regarding your child after class.

Class Placement

Placement and determination of a student’s class level is based on the following criteria: age and ability, maturity, and an individual assessment of progress from the previous year. Progression to the next level is based on a student’s individual progress and is at the sole discretion of the instructor(s) that determine what class level a student should be enrolled in.

Each student’s progress is reviewed on an ongoing basis throughout the year. The instructors of Dance Creations take pride in the progress of their students and hope that you trust their judgment in determining what class will best suit your child’s needs. As always, we are happy to discuss any issue or answer questions you may have regarding your child.
Please see our Curriculum page for more details on class levels.
